Iris stitch is an easy to follow stitch and quick but also gives you an elegant result to your projects.
Pattern:
Row 1: Skip the first 4 ch
from your hook, (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in 5th ch, *skip 3 ch, (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in next ch*, repeat
from * to * across until your 2 last ch, Sk 1 ch, dc in last.
Ch3, turn.
Row 2: Skip 2 sts, *(2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in ch 1 sp from previous row, skip 4 sts*,
repeat from * to * across until your 3 last sts, skip 2 sts, dc in last.
Ch 3,
turn.
