This is the stitch you are looking for your summer projects. Elegant, beautiful and fasionable stitch. The Honeycomb stitch is the perfect pattern for cover ups, vests, kimonos, t-shirts, shawls.

Pattern of the stitch:
Ch in multiples of 5 plus 2st
Row 1: sc in the second chain from hook and in each
stitch across.
Ch
1, turn.
Row2: sc in first st as ch1 is, sc in second st, *ch
5, skip 2 st, sc in each of the next 3 stitches* repeat to the last 4 st, ch 5,
skip 2 st, sc in each of the last 2 stitches.
Ch
1, turn.
Row 3: sc in first stitch as ch1 is, skip next st, 5 sc
in the ch 5 arch, *skip next st, sc in the next stitch, skip the next stitch, 5
sc in the ch 5 arch* repeat to the last 2 st, skip next st, sc in the last
stitch.
Ch 7
(counts as a treble crochet and ch 2), turn.
Row 4: skip the first 2 st (the first as ch1 is and the
next one), sc in each of the next 3 st, *ch 5, skip 3 st, sc in the next 3 st* repeat
to the last 2 st, ch2, skip next st, tr in the last st.
Ch
1, turn.
Row 5: sc in the first st as ch1 is, 2 sc in the ch 2
space, skip next st, sc in next st, skip next st, *5 sc in the ch 5 arch, skip
next st, sc in next st, skip next st* repeat to the last ch 2 space, 2 sc in
the ch 2 space, sc in the 3rd chain of the ch 7 at the beginning of the
previous row.
Ch
1, turn.
Row 6: sc in first st as ch1 is, sc in second st, *ch
5, skip 3 st, sc in each of the next 3 st* repeat to the last 5 sc, ch 5, skip
3 st, sc in the last two stitches.
Repeat rows 3-6 unti you have reached your desired leght.
