Crochet The Sprig Stitch



I am so happy for all the new stitches i descover everyday. This is one of them, the sprig Stitch. And one of the easiest stitches of the world, so you, the beginners in crochet, don't be afraid to try it! I have you the written instructionsbelow and at the bottom you can find a step by step video tutorial. Get your crochet hook and start right now!

Abbreviations:

Dc - double crochet
Ch - chain


Pattern of the stitch:
Chain in multiples of  4 plus 3.
ROW 1: Skip the first 3 chains and in the 4th one work 2dc and ch2. Go to the next chain and work 2dc. Skip 2 chains, *work 2dc in the next chain, ch 2, 2dc in the next chain, skip two chains. Repeat * until there are 2 chains left. Skip one and dc into the last chain. 
Ch 3 and turn.
ROW 2: Go straight to the chain 2 space and work the sprig (2dc, ch2, 2dc), work the sprig into each ch2 space across the row until you reach at the end. End row with a dc into the last turning chain. 
Chain 3 and turn.
Repeat Row 2 until you will reach your desired leght.
