Cast off.
Work a second deer the same way. When you’ve completed the two deer, you’re going to work a round of single crochets around it.
At the corners of the legs, the end of the tail and the tips of the ears sc. 2 in 1 st.
Make sure that you work the same amount of sc. for both patches because then assembling it will be much easier. Note that there is a front and back to your work, so crochet the edge of sc. at the right side of your work (1 side the head is at the right, and the other side has the head at the left of the body).
Our deer has a border or 360 sts. in total, but it doesn’t matter if you have more or less stitches. Just make sure you’ve got the same amount of sts. for both patches.
Attaching the two patchesTake 1 patch and sc. 1 in the back loop of each st. Work 6 rows such that you’ll get an upright border. Cast off.
Take your second patch. You’re going to attach it with needle and thread to the border of the other patch. Start at the tip of the tail where you’ve worked 2 sc. in 1 st. Put the other patch to the border such that it is opposite to the other one (right side facing up). Cast on a new yarn and work the patches together st. by st. the following way: insert in both loops of the stitches of the border and only in 1 of the deer (this way you’ll get a little edge just like the other patch). Sew the whole patch together and stuff it at the same time.
When you’ve completely closed the pillow you can work a round of sl.st. at both sides of the pillow in the front loops of the edge.

Little Dots on the BackSc. 6 in a magic loop with colour white and sc. 2 in each st. the next round (12 sts.). Cast off and work 6 dots in total this way. Sew the little dots to the back, 3 on each side.
Enjoy your cute pillow!
