Dishcloth measures 9” diameter. 

COATS® “Crème De La Crème®”: 1 ball each 101 Cream A, 500 Aqua OR 255 Tea Rose B and 118 Linen C. 

Crochet Hook: 5mm [US H-8] 
Yarn needle, stitch markers.


GAUGE: 17 sts = 4” in stitch pattern. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

Special Stitches 
dc2tog (worked over 2 sts) = [Yarn over, insert hook in next stitch, yarn over and pull up loop, yarn over, draw through 2 loops] 2 times, yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook. 

dc3tog (worked over 3 sts) = [Yarn over, insert hook in next stitch, yarn over and pull up loop, yarn over, draw through 2 loops] 3 times, yarn over, draw through all 4 loops on hook.

dc5tog (worked over 5 sts) = [Yarn over, insert hook in next stitch, yarn over and pull up loop, yarn over, draw through 2 loops] 5 times, yarn over, draw through all 6 loops on hook.


DISHCLOTH 
With A, ch 5, slip st in first ch to form a ring. 

Round 1: *(Ch 9, sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next 6 ch) to make a point, sc in ring; repeat from * 4 times more – 5 points. Fasten off A. Place marker for beginning of round. Notes: In the next round, you will be working in the stitches down one side and in the chains on the opposite side of the foundation chain of each point. When instructed to work a dc5tog, work the dc5tog over the next 2 sts of the current point, the sc between points, and the first 2 chains on the opposite side of the ch-9 foundation chain of the next point. 

Round 2: Join B in 4th dc of previous point, ch 2 (counts as dc), *dc5tog, dc in next 4 ch of foundation ch, skip next ch, (3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in tip of point, skip next hdc, dc in next 4 dc; repeat from * 3 times more, dc5tog, dc in next 4 ch, skip last ch, (3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in tip of point, skip next hdc, dc in next 3 sts. 

Round 3: Working in back loops only, *dc3tog, dc in next 5 sts, skip next st, (3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in next ch-3 space, skip next st, dc in next 5 sts; repeat from * 4 more times. 

Round 4: *Dc2tog, dc in next 7 sts, (3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in next ch-3 space, skip next st, dc in next 7 sts; repeat from * 4 times more. 

Fasten off.


Edging Round
Join C with sc in any ch-3 space, 2 sc in same space, *sc in next 9 sts, dc3tog, sc in next 9 sts, 3 sc in next ch-3 space; repeat from * 3 times more, sc in next 9 sts,dc3tog, sc in next 9 sts, slip st in first sc. 

Round 2: Ch 1, work backwards sc in each st around, slip st in first st to join. 

Fasten off.


FINISHING 
Weave in ends.
