Scrubby measures 5” [13 cm] across at widest point.

Each part of Scrubby is made separately and then pieces are sewed together.

CONE (make 2)
With A, ch 4.
Set-Up Row (Wrong Side): Dc in 4th ch from hook.
Row 1: Ch 3 (does not count as a dc here and throughout), turn, 3 dc in dc – 3 dc.
Row 2: Ch 3, turn, dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in last st – 4 dc.
Row 3: Ch 3, turn, dc in each dc to last dc, 2 dc to last dc – 5 dc.
Repeat Row 3 four more times – 9 dc.
Fasten off.
ICE CREAM
First Scoop
With B, ch 14.
Row 1 (Right Side): Sc in 2nd ch from hook, [skip next ch, Shell in next ch, skip next ch, sc in next ch] 3 times, turn to work along opposite side of foundation ch, ch 1, *sc in sc, sc in skipped ch, sc in Shell, sc in skipped ch; repeat from * to last st, sc in last st.
Rows 2-3: Working along straight edge only, ch 2 (does not count as a hdc here and throughout), turn, 2 hdc in first st, hdc in each st to end – 15 hdc.
Fasten off.
Second Scoop
With C, ch 16.
Row 1 (Right Side): Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, [skip next ch, Shell in next ch, skip next ch, sc in next ch] 3 times, sc in last ch, turn to work along opposite side of foundation ch, ch 1, sc in sc, *sc in next sc, sc in skipped ch, sc in Shell, sc in skipped ch; repeat from * to last 2 sts, sc in last 2 sts.
Rows 2-3: Working along straight edge only, ch 2, turn, hdc2tog, hdc in each st to end – 13 hdc.
Fasten off.
Third Scoop
With D, ch 16.
Row 1 (Right Side): Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, [skip next ch, Shell in next ch, skip next ch, sc in next ch] 3 times, sc in last ch, turn to work along opposite side of foundation ch, ch 1, sc in sc, *sc in next sc, sc in skipped ch, sc in Shell, sc in skipped ch; repeat from * to last 2 sts, sc in last 2 sts.
Rows 2-6: Working along straight edge only, ch 2, turn, hdc2tog, hdc in each st to last 2 sts, hdc2tog – 3 hdc.
Fasten off.
CHERRY
With D, ch 4, slip st in first ch to form a ring.
Round 1: Ch 1, work 10 sc in ring.
Fasten off.
STEM
With A, ch 10.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Sew Cone pieces together. Following photo and overlapping pieces along lower scalloped edges, sew three Scoops together. Sew Ice Cream along top edge of Cone. Sew Cherry in center of top edge of Third Scoop. Fold Stem in half and sew ends to top edge of Third Scoop.
Weave in ends.
